Ive searched and think I know the approach to take but am unsure. I have the harness (auto) from the 98 with the motor and the y7 harness, in a manual car. I tried this with my 97 p2p ecu and the fuel pump did not come on I'm guessing it has to do with the obd2b of the 2000? I put the y7 ecu in and the pump came on but car would not start.

I know plenty have done this swap. So what do I need? 99-00 ex ecu and harness?
