turbo lsvtec o-ring block issues
ok im having a problem with the orings not getting compressed enough and its causing coolant to pass around the headgasket and leak down the block has anyone ever had this issue ive checked everything all surfaces are flat nothing is holding the head up i checked the dowl pin and manifolds and all and straight edged everything the only thing i can figure it maybe the oring groove isnt cut deep enough.
anyone know how deep they should be? and it is the correct oring wire directly from golden eagle.

what headgasket are you using? cometics and other aftermarket have an extra ring on the bottom side of the gasket which does not work well with o ringed blocks.
If you want to try alternate o-ring sizes Parco Inc provides a great o-ring size chart here: http://www.parcoinc.com/guide-o-ring-size-chart.php Hope this helps

GE gaskets are just worked honda gaskets. they open up the dowel holes for ls/vtec conversions, they also have all the sizes for ya, all of wich have also been opened up for any head-block combination.
