Please check the FAQs at the top of the FI forum. That should help you in the right direction.

don't look at psi numbers, look at horsepower numbers. I would suggest finding someone local who can help teach you through the process. Its twice as hard, takes twice as long, and costs twice as much as you think it will, but its worth it in the end. Do a ton of reading and you will begin to ask more specific questions, and the answers will be more helpful once you have put in some time and effort.

Your gonna need a fuel pump all the gauges a tune tuning software new spark plugs. And a headgasket and some headstuds. Aim for a hp number and go from there if u want reliabilty I would shoot for around 250whp. But reliabilty all depends on you and the tune. If your gonna redline that motor every time you shift from 1st to 2nd it wont last.

Sounds like he doesnt know whats really involved.. research and more research is whats really needed before spending $$ on parts

:edit: your tuner will know for sure what lb you'll be at.. and youll get bored with that after 2 weeks and want to turn it up.
