Car is cutting out when I drop to second gear and I am slowing down. Its drops below 1000rpm and just dies. Even when car is idling it seems to struggle to keep revs up. No lights are coming on dashboard only oil light once it has cut out. Car starts again no problem until slowing down again.

Can anyone please give me some advice or has anyone experienced this problem too?
