need help with obd0 ecu chip

Default need help with obd0 ecu chip

my buddy has a chipped obdo pr3..just got it chipped/tuned and now it gets a solid red light..have done a few obd1's and know that if you clip the j1 jumper it will run back on the stock rom..was wondering if there was a similar procces for obd0? thanks in advance

There is no equivalent process on OBD0, sorry. With OBD0 you have to cut the OEM chip out and put in a socket.

I'd check the chip is making a good connection with the socket and isn't at all loose, and make sure no legs are bent, before freaking out too much. Standard chip sockets typically suck.
