max capacity of motor oil for 5th gen ludes?

 

It's either 5.1qts or 5.2 qts. I don't remember which exactly... But I always just use 5 qts.

My friend's dad told me the type SH has a smaller oil pan - as in under 4 qts. But all literature I check says 5.1. Since my friend's dad has been a Honda engineer for over 25 yrs, I think he knows his stuff though. For example, when I got my car serviced, they changed the oil, and the dipstick indicated 1/4 inch over the top dot, so I think he's right. Whenever I change my oil, I put in 4qts even, and I'm never below the top dot. I'll double check with him anyway.
