got an 02 rsx-s car misfired while driving on the highway then it died. tow it to the shop now cylinder number 1 is just getting raw gas in there its not burning any fuel at all. wierd part is it even gets fuel then the injector isnt plugged in. what can it be ? changed brand new plugs and coil number 1 is pretty much not running at all because so much fuel is getting dumped in. running on kpro ecu.

nope rc550 .. its weird because seems like only cylinder number 1 is getting overfueled even when the injector is plugged in.

 

swap that injector to another cylinder and see if the original cylinder stays the same or changes. (since you already tried plugs and wires)

 

there is no wires its all coils

 

swaping injectors is a good idea..., sounds like you have a stuck open injector tho.
You can try to have it ultrasonic cleand if you want. That may help the stuck open part.

 

that what I was thinking. Injector is stuck open. That is why I'd like him to try swapping the injector to another cylinder and see what happens.
