bad injector?

bad injector?
I just finished installing a set of RC 440cc injectors. My CEL is flashing and it's giving me code 71 which is a misfire in cylinder #1. I thought maybe my soldering job was bad, so I checked that and it seems to be good. I disconnected the spark plug in that cylinder and it didn't seem to run any different. The car is running like ****. Has a really lumpy idle. I'm still running fuel pressure close to stock, but I have it leaned out about 40% via my PMS, which seems to be about right to get my A/F gauge to cycle like it did before.
I guess tomorrow I'll swap the injector with another cylinder and see if that changes anything. If it seems to be the injector, I guess I'll have to send it back to RC Engineering. I wish I'd kept my stock injector clips connected, although there really isn't much room to have both.
Does anyone have any other ideas on things to try here? How bad for the engine is it to run it on 3 cylinders, if that really is my problem?

I just switched the injectors in cylinders 1 and 2. I changed my plugs, cuz I thought they might be fouled or something. Now I'm getting a 71 and 73. So I guess it wasn't the injector. The clip seems to be good....
I noticed all of the spark plugs were really dark, so I guess each cylinder is getting fuel.. where the hell do I go from here? argh.
