sooo i have a supercharged gsr in a ef....car is tuned with a chipped p72 ecu

the problem is the car wont idle at cold start, it will fire up to 1200rpms and die...but if you hold the gas open a lil bit it will stay on.....now after the car warms up it will idle with no problems the car will drive and go into boost with no problems....i dont have a secondary iacv under the tb

i dont have any check engine codes

things i have done to try and fix it
-changed iacv 3 times
-cleaned all the iacv i tryd on
-changed tb and gasket
-checked for vac leaks
-checked all grounds



any help or answer would be nice and thanks for replys in advance

 

e85 or pump gas? e85 is hard to start in cold weather.

 

Just Pump gas, and the car don't have a hard time to start as long as I hold the gas pedal...it can be cold asshell n the car will start with no problem...I just can't figure why I have to hit the gas for it to start only on cold start

 

What management are you running? It needs post start fuel adjustments and cold start adjustments as well as coolant and air temp fuel adjustments

and how do u do that?

 

a chipped p72 isnt engine management, was the car tuned? what software was used, crome, ectune, hondata, etc...

well if you dont have a chip burner or emulator you wont be able to make changes, bring the car back to a tuner for changes to be made

 

thanks alot man i called my tuner today and he said yeah he got to change something on the tune and to bring in the car...
