Icon6 Block heater install on 1999 Civic.

I picked up a this car from out east and have it in mid-west Canada now where temps are below -25 on the regular. I cannot find anything on HT regarding the install guide or even the location of block heater bolt. Can anyone fellow HT'ers with one installed snap some photos of the location of this?

When you use the plug in block heater, you have to take it out and unplug everytime you start out?

I guess the brass part replaces the block in the block and unplug from there?

Are those universal?

I have hard cold starts esp in the cold seasons.

i have one of these in my LT1 chevy in my garage. most diesel trucks also have these. i suggest if it gets cold where you live, especially overnight, this is worth the 50 bucks and 2-5 minutes to install.

No, a cord goes into the brass part. You only have to unplug from the socket.
If you live in a cold climate, for under $100 it is great for the engine for the cold months.
