Default D16 / B16 SWAP for Del Sol???

I have a Del Sol Si. So its the SOHC VTEC (D16).
How easy is it to swap in the DOHC VTEC (B16)??
What does this intale?

I want to really do this car right so obviously getting the better engine is my first move. I don't want to build up a 120hp engine when I could be building on a 160hp engine!

I found one online.
It includes the
- Block
- Complete Head
- Sensors
- Distributor
- Starter
- Alternator

I will be getting performance Intake manifold, Throttle Body, etc etc...
Is there anything else I need with it?
Is there anything there that I DON'T need from that list?
Will it be direct bolt-on?

All advice and help is welcome. I want to get moving on this soon.
Thanks everyone!

p.s. The future goal is a rev hard turbo kit. But I'd rather put it on the DOHC than the SOHC

Do you really think 160hp is that much faster? You're in for a rude awakening when you do a B16 swap then.

Maybe I'm not an expert, but last time I checked 160 is 40 more than 120. And can't I get more power with mods out of the B16 than the D16?

lol B16 still has no tq and 30hp more isnt alot your better off boosting your d series and make more power then all swaps and probably more TQ. then build another motor ont he side for boost later either d or b series.

Better off if you get just build your SOHC for boost and turbo it and you will be better off with that then the B16. You will still need axles, wire harness, ECU, make it into what ever OBD version it is, Need motor mounts, TRANMISSION! and other things..

Just Build the SOHC for boost and turbo it

I know im new on here and all but yea they are right a b16's complete lack of torque is annoying and yea it will be humbling when someone with a single walks off on you, but a b16 is a fun engine and u can turn it to the sky and back and it keeps coming back for more but as far as how difficult the swap is not really that hard period
