Default Wastegate not centered on manifold? does it matter

I seen various log manifolds all I want to know is if there is any issues if it mounts to the cylinder 1-2 exhaust ports instead of being centered in the middle.ill get pics if needed most of what i see is centered

Even the best wastegates can only control the amount of exhaust that they see. Those log manifolds force the wastegate to only gate the exhaust out of a single runner and allowing the other three runners to run free. Not to mention the exhaust has to make a hard 90 to get in the wastegate.

Those cast log manifolds literally rely solely on heavy backpressure to allow the wastegate to regulate exhaust pressure correctly.

I didnt really understand them, looking at it thats pretty hektic. so excess boost air is going to be dumped right into my down pipe but has that crazy 90bend. I could try it I guess and watch for boost creep

Also the exhaust will have lots of back pressure its a 2.5" straight with jdm gsr axleback but might go with a stealth instead. dp is 3" modding to 2.5" pipes

yes second pic is home made but similar.
