Default 1970 Honda N600 Swap Options? Build thread

I just recently acquired a pair of 1970 N600's.. One is really solid and I want to restore it and do some sort of swap. Nothing crazy but I want something more modern. I am thinking a D16z6 would be nice...

I'm looking for some sort of info or a build thread for some reference info..

Any info would be appreciated.

Take a look at your engine bay again. Its tiny. Keep it motorcycle powered and go fuel injected Honda 600RR or 1000RR.

A friend of mine lives in socal and said hes seen an N600 in his area w/sohc. He didnt get a chance to talk to the owner but he said he could confirm its sohc. I would have to agree w/jdmda7 keep it simple motorcycle engine would be best.

I became friends with a guy that installed a D16a6 engine in the back of his N600, then he added a turbo!! I did the tuning work on the little car, and consulted him with Honda info, have yet to drive it but its pretty sick!

Here's a link to his build up of the car, he entered the car in the 2011 Grass challenge :

I've spoken to Brian G at Hasport and we're working on my '72 Z600 with a K24. To make it fit up front, an engine subframe/carraige is necessary. They've had firsthand experience with it, and believe it or not, it fits!!!

**edit:
check out www.facebook.com/merismotorsports for pictures and updates of the build

I have seen people use a starter motor that will engage a sprocket for reverse on motorcycle swaps, so reverse is possible, its just electric!
