Default H-Series Del Sol Shift Linkage Install Help.

Hey guys, i'm in the process of swapping the H out of my prelude into my del sol. Does anybody have any install pics of the shift linkage? I've searched on here, and haven't found any pics. Now with that being said, I've seen the install in an eg, and ek. Didn't know if I just mount it the same way with I guess the distance being longer than a hatch or coupe. If anybody knows or happens to come across any pics, It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

Edit: I'll take some pictures tomorrow of what I got so far.

you will have to cut a small hole in your firewall for the cable to pass through for the cable shifter

So run it through the firewall, not under the car?

Cable? I don't remember any cables. But it has been a while.
Should go H2B. None of this hacking and puzzle piecing axles.

H22 transmission are not linkage type, they have cables like the K series engines do.

I second that, go H2B

run them threw the firewall.

At the moment I don't have enough cash flow to go H2B. I Would definitely do it if I could afford it. I just need a car back on the road, and I happen to have an H-Swap Laying around. So the cables shouldn't go underneath the car at all? Just straight through the firewall? Lol.

I ran mine under the car almost right where the stock linkage would normally be.

Doesn't the different length of shift linkages between eg's and del sol's pose a problem for mounting the cables underneath the car, which is why you guys are saying go through the firewall?

the length would more likely make a difference of where the shifter would be mounted in the car . id run them out the bottom like all other stock auto and 5 speed linkage setups. they are even ran out the bottom on my rsx type S NOT through the firewall. Goodluck

I want the shifter to be where it would be with rod linkage, there really isn't much room to mount this damn box. Lol.

being they swap these H22motors and cable shifters in a crx u shouldn't have any problems mounting it where ever u have to. the cable makes it kinda flexible where u have to mount it. just zip tie them up where u have to or make a bracket to hold them in place.
