Default T3/T4 T04E Q

How much HP would I be making running 6-8 pounds of boost on an h22 with a t3/t4 .57 trim?

I want to make a decent amount of power if I'm going to invest in going FI, if not I'll just save the money and build something else.

If you plan to boost a H22 I would sleeve it to get rid of the FMR liners in the cylinders, they are not to boost friendly. 6-8lbs around 250-300 depending on setup and tuning. There is not no exact answer to your question as each motor and turbo system is different.

^^^ The liners have absolutely nothing to do with boost-friendlyness.

anyway.

If 300 is your goal than you have a capable turbo.

IME FMR liners cause blow by as the liners and rings wear. I have seen stock H22's burn oil. They are not weak never said that I have seen 12psi daily driven with 15psi at the track on FMR liners, but the motor was healthy and young. They just tend to wear out a little faster that a normal sleeve and you get oil burning and some blow by, not good things for a boosted motor.
