Hello HT, newb to the site and just checking out some popular threads. Thought id jump on the band wagon within this one. She isn't the prettiest, but she makes good power and is fairly reliable. This is the second honda i have owned and built, family member totaled the first one. Setup;

B16a head w/ supertech valve train

My current tuner found some questionable settings on my tune out of kansas. We both came to the conclusion that my old tuner was either trying to get my motor to blow without looking like he did it or he had some issue with me that was never addressed cause I'm at a loss. Why he couldn't get more than 281whp out of my fully built motor was beyond me till i move to florida and met my current tuner. Moral of the story; make sure you're tuner knows what he's doing.

thanks guys, and slim1320racing, i don't daily this thing. I'm a disabled veteran, clutching this thing all the time is unrealistic to me and with hp like this its impossible to get traction on the street. So i drive the 4door v6 impala daily and track race this thing. The plates are coming off and she's getting trailered with a race gas and more boost (25 psi) in may. thanks again for the bump!

 

Did you plug your crankcase vent?

 

Yes i did. it was going to get capped anyway, I figured I would have it cut and filled when valve cover had my fittings welded in. kinda think it will look cleaner when i get it painted as well

 

Nice setup. I have question what motor mounts did you use.

 

Avid Race mounts. have held for 2+ years

^^ thanks, i was looking at a top mount, but i came across some one with a AFI ram horn for $400. Had it looked at and it was good, so that sealed the deal. But what awesome top-end those manifolds have! (top mount )

CaN U take picture of your driver side motor mount. I still have my stock motor mount I was trying to see what it looks like. The em1 driver side motor mount is weird shape compared to the other ones.
