Default Boneyard Boost Setup ???

Me and a guy that's a master of motors are considering doing a boneyard boost on my motor as a project, to see how much horsepower we can get out of a mostly stock block, as cheap as possible. Here's what i have planned:

- Stock block w/ 165k
- Replace rods/pistons/rings/bearings, maybe cryo-n-shotpeen the rods
- Replace seals, head gasket, etc.
- 1st gen DSM BOV
- 1st gen DSM turbo mani. drilled to fit H23
- 1st gen DSM 14B turbo
- NPR or one of the big Volvo intercoolers
- Custom piping/hoses throughout

We're not sure what to do about the fuel side, yet. I'm not completely sure what the stock injectors and fuel pump are good to, psi wise, so I need some advice. If stock injectors and fuel pump are good for up to 7-10 psi, nothin big, I can stick to those. So the questions are:

- What are stock injectors and fuel pump good to, psi wise?
- If stockers will work, would it be possible to pull FPR hose, running full rich, and using an SAFC to lean out the lower rpm's, instead of buying a rising-rate FPR?
- If stockers won't work to 7psi, then I plan on using some DSM blue top 450 injectors and using another fuel pump w/ the stock one to supply the extra fuel.
- Also, how good is the stock ignition on boost around 7-10psi?

Any good advice on making this setup work?
This is all assuming I don't sell my car in the next few weeks to buy a 91-95 MR2 turbo instead. Any comments in general?

ehhh, im kinda thinking of doin a junkyard setup i was gonna buy a revhard turbo mani and down pipe and then use a t3 from a saab9000 and run 7 pounds and use a vortec FMU , and a volvo or other junkyard intercooler that i can make fit with custom piping from junk i collect from other boosted junkyard dogs. atleast thats the plan hell maybe ill just drop the 3grand and buy a kit, haha

Its sounds promising, but will drilling the Mits
manifold work? The injectors should be OK, I would recommend though trying to get a cheap set of VTEC injectors and sending to RC to have gone over. The stock ignition would work, but if you keep your eyes open you can get a MSD setup used for about $100- $150 with the coil. I would also recommend a oil cooler kit for the engine itself.

Good luck

So is the inline fuel pump necessary for 7 psi? And what are H23/H22 injectors good to? I've never seen H22 injectors under $100, and I can get DSM's for $40-50.
