ACT heavy duty pressure plate?
wanting to know if any of you guys know how much power and tq. the pressure plate is rated for on 94-01 integra?
I have a turbo lsvtec motor right now with 300whp/230tq. on the act 6 puck and exedy organic pp, going to up the boost to be around 390-400whp and need a pressure plate to be able to hold that much power and the act HD pp fits my budget, unless you guys can fill me in on some other brand around the same price range that can hold the amount of power/tq. i will be making, dont want it to slip at the track when it's on slicks

i think for that fig u must have to put ACT XT pp....HD is meant for 300-350 bhp ....so in order to meet ur gaols on slicks, just go and have XT widout another thought.....
Imo, I would get a ACT sprung 6puck and a heavy duty pressure plate as you asked. I have this setup, my original ACT pressure plate
and disc have been refitted once just cause it was time. Have had no issues with the motor at 19psi from a SC6262 making 474. Damn thing holds all day! and I'm a track noob learning my car all over again at the 1/4, so you can imagine the abuse she takes. ;-)

ok got a answer from ryan over at ACT, the said that the ACT HD pressure plate along with a 4 or 6 puck disc will be able to hold 310ft. lbs. of tq. at the crank, so it translates into about 260-270ft. lbs. of tq. to the wheels.
Nailclipper, how much tq. are you making?

I made 522whp with 327wtrq on act extreme and 4 puck sprung. Great clutch never slipped lasted a long time and looked new when I took it off and sold it last week

I've had mine for bout 5 yrs and no probs. The car made 380tq to the wheels. They hold up great, seems like they are a Lil under rated in my opinion. Get it and don't look back
