New 94 Si owner needs brake help!
I bought a Prelude Si that had break problems. It wont hold break fluid and there is a whistle coming from the break booster, and the abs light is on. Does the whistle mean my break booster is out or not holding pressure or something. I have no idea hows these work. Any help is appreciated!!
If there are no noticeable leaks and the booster is making noise i would start with the booster and check the master. more than likely you will find that its been leaking into the booster and causing it to make noise.
Removing ABS properly is a lot of work....it may or may not be worth it to you. You can search for the various write-ups that are out there.

Quick question for other luders (not trying to hijack), but would a CEL scanner read the ABS light as well? Have a mechanic buddy with a scanner at home and we're working on my lude tomorrow. Want to see if I can trouble shoot it and maybe help us both out. I've also been told the light could be a wheel speed sensor?

If you have an obd1 car(pre1996), the abs code will blink along with the CEL if you jump the connector under the dash. Service manual or online info will tell you what it means. GL

its not that hard to remove and when you do, the abs light will stay off too. as for your noise from the booster, i would check all the hoses first before you try to replace it. and if you are considering an abs delete, you need to buy a booster, lines and master cylinder for the prelude s(not type s) or 94-97 accord dx model.
Be careful when you start to put the lines back onto the master cylinder itself, you dont want to strip the threading. Also you must BENCH BLEAD the cylinder before installation or youll have air in the lines causing the brake pedal to drop. Pre checks are always necessary. Oh and you spelled DEFINATELY incorrectly as well..its not DEFFINITELY. Quick FYI.
