Default 94 gsr has spark but no fuel???

Hey I'm a newb to this forum and need some advice. My brothers 94 integra gsr wont start. It has a good spark and the fuel pump turns on and the fuel gets to the fuel rail but the injectors don't open. The compression is around 180 in all cylinders and the timing is correct. Everything is there except the fuel. It seems like maybe the ecu just isn't sending a signal to the injectors to open. All the fuses are good as well.

I thought it might be the main relay so I went to the junk yard and picked one up. That didn't fix anything. I'm thinking of getting another ecu now and try that... anyone have any other ideas of what it might be. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

You should test things before you throw parts at it. Test the injector connectors for power.

Make sure ECU/ECM has power at IPG1 and IPG2, the only two (2) yellow/black leads to the ECU/ECM.

Also check and make sure there is power at the injectors, wire that is the same color at all 4 injector plugs. 94

okay so I tested the IGP1 and IGP2 connectors on the ecu and they are getting power but the injectors dont get power. Anyone have a clue why this might be happening?

There is no power at the injectors.

Could someone tell me where the yellow/black wires go after the plug at the driver side strut tower? There is a plug with about six or so wires going in to it with the yellow/black wires. Where do they go from there? ECU,Fuse Box..?? Thanks

Okay so after doing some more research, it looks like the plug at the driver side strut tower just needs a dummy plug on it that will redistribute the current?? Can someone confirm this?

Yes, there should be a "junction connector" there, there should be one (1) yellow/black with power, [ign. switch on] it is from the injector relay in the PGM-FI Main Relay, the other yellow/blacks, [four (4) for the injectors and the rest for the heated O2 sensor, intake air bypass control valve solinoid and the IACV there may also be a 9th lead for the evap. purge control valve although it may be split off at a diff. point on GS-Rs 94

Thanks for the feedback. We got it running. Took a connecter from a da teg and it turned on. The idle was kind of messed up but I think its because the connector is from a da. Ill get one for gsr and it should run fine.
