Default hopefully someone has some useful info?

Im currently swapping a vtec d17 into a 2002 civic in my shop the chasis was originally equiped with a non vtec engine so obviously i will have to swap harnesses and the ecu problem is i know these ecus have a immobilizer so the key communicates with it. Is there a way to disable it with out taking the car to honda and flashing it as my local dealer will only flash new ecus....

thanks- sean

Get the ignition switch assembly, key(s), and ECU from the same parts car. Then you won't have to reflash anything.
