Icon6 recomended clutch 95 civic

Hey Guys i have a 95 civic coupe with a d16z6 and its needing a new clutch soon. It has a intake and exhaust are the only power mods to it. I was wondering what you guys think would be a good clutch for the car, i am wanting a stiffer pedal for it. Right now it has a exedy stg.1 in it that went bad im assuming within 1year of putting it in. the car still drives fine and does not slip just the pedal is super soft and it feels like the clutch is almost gone. I have a "spirited" driving style and like to light up the tires occasionally so ideas are wanted. Also any ideas what would cause it to grind when shifting fast into seccond?

Stock replacement. Anything else is wasted.

IMO
Stage 3 6 puck SPRUNG Street/Track
Lightweight flywheel

Note:Its gonna be agressive so if its your dd and you do alot of driving maybe use a regular exedy stage 1 disk.

I have a Stage 3 6 puck SPRUNG Street/Track on my dd and its fun!

Are you sure the clutch is bad? There are other things that could cause the pedal to be soft, a clutch should last a lot more then a year. Bad synchros will cause it to grind but since you're having clutch problems I would guess in your rough driving you are not allowing the clutch to engage fully before shifting.

If you're pedal is soft, but the clutch doesn't slip look around the clutch lines and make sure there aren't any leaks.

If it only grinds when shifting fast, it's not a mechanical error. It's your driving style. Your hand is shifting fast than your foot is.

I have check the lines for the slave and master cyl. and didnt notice any leaks, i replaced them both for good measure before i replaced the clutch because i was having the same issue with the clutch that was in the car when i purchased it. any other ideas what may cause soft clutch pedal? Im curious since it was also a exedy clutch that came out but you could shake the disk and hear the springs rattle around in it, hope its not the same issue.

Did you bleed the system real well after you installed the master and slave cylinders?
