Default 95 civic clutch going out

I have a d16z6. so my clutch is getting really bad. i cant even burn out anymore. here is my question

What brand and stage clutch should i get for a basically stock d16z6 that will be turbocharged later on? I like doing burn outs, and second gear chirps and I need something that can handle lots of those, while still being a daily driver...

Also, is it hard changing a clutch? I would say i am above average mechanically wise, so could someone tell me the difficulty lvl and about how many hours i am looking at?

THanks.

I would recommend the 1MS clutch kit by Action that we sell here at Bisimoto Engineering.

All Action Clutch 1MS Clutch Kits feature a single diaphragm heavy duty pressure plate, 6 puck miba friction pads sprung disk which is capable of supporting up to 275 horsepower. This is what we recommend for daily driver street/strip applications.

Changing the clutch isnt to difficult either. Just find a write-up or walk through and you should be good

a ZOOM stage 1 clutch like $230 works great for that, I love doing burn outs also! lol sometimes like getting 2nd gear on a nasty new years burnout! but not all clutchs will allow that. get a ZOOM. worked great for me over 70XXX miles!

and clutch swap could be a bitch. if it were me id pull the engine and tranny and do it with out being all squashed under the car and hitting your head and busting knuckles.

I have changed my clutch twice in my Old civic and done jobs for friends. people say you can drop the tranny side of the motor down and take out the transmition and change clutch pretty easy im sure it is. But id rather take the whole motor and trans out for more room to work i hate working in tight spaces. I: went through 6 engine on my civic so every 3 i went through id throw in a new clutch, why not it was right their and looked wore out.

But no, I have never changed a clutch while the engine is in the car.

ACT is like the best, But Zoom is good for its money, get a stage 1 MAYBE stage 2 if you really plan on turboing it later.

And you can get Zoom from Advance Auto.
