Default B20 vtec help!!

Ok i Bought a 96 gsr with a blown bottom end so i figuered it was a good time for a b20 vtec setup. So i got a ls vtec kit slap everything on and ran the stock ecu on it. Cranked it on and broke it in but it seem to have noo ***** wat so ever. And when the car gets warm it would studer at mid rpms. Any help would be appreciated..

why would you think running a stock ecu would be a good idea?

You have an obd2 ecu which is not chipable. You will need an obd2a to obd1 ecu conversion harness and run a chipped obd1 ecu with a correct basemap. Then get it tuned.

I took it to my boy's shop and he ran the hondata s300 on it and he all ready had a basemap ready. I ran the car it had a big improvement it did not studder any more but i felt that it was still very underpower my boy agreed with me. But he blamed it on the head he told me it would of bin a better setup with a b16 head.

The gsr head has nothing to do with your problem. Tune it for once
