B20z into 96 Civic LX--OBD2 ecu ok???
I'm in the early stages of planning my project. It will be a daily driver/beater that might get drag raced once in its lifetime. My focus is on having a quick, low-buck, worry-free daily driver.
That said, I'd love to use an obd2 ecu for emissions-hassle-avoidance and convenience (I don't car to track down and spend the money on OBD1 ecu and conversion harness only to have it fail emissions because of ECU tampering).
Are B20 people having good luck using the stock 5-speed CR-V ecu???
Thanks.

Here's a n00b question--why not use the CR-V stock ecu??? Less aggressive?
Is this a low buck ecu???

The hard part is finding a manual FWD only CR-V ECU. If you can find that then I don't see any reason not to use it but luck finding one.
