ok so i have a 94 cx d15b8. i just bought a d16y8 vtec head to get this thing a little faster. but im nervous that when i get started on this project everything will just fail completely. so i was wondering if someone could send me a link or tell me how to do this with out ****ing my **** up haha. i am also in the military and do not have the most free time i was hoping everything would only take 5-6 hours. so here all i need is a parts list of everything i need to do this head swap and very basic instruction on how to throw it on my block also i need to know about all the timing issues and what not. so please help me out a military member and point me in the correct direction. thank you very much for who ever will help me

 

Use the "search" button up above then type in "mini me" (no quotation marks) and then select "honda civic/del sol(1992-2000) and go to the mini me write up by bauley civic. thats a very good starting point.

 

Also look in the FAQ link on the top of this forum it has tons of links for mini me write ups

 

a mini me without rebuilding the motor will not last long
