Do a leak down test... Also disconnect your fan and let run untill all the boiling bubbles stop, and the water start to want to come out the top, close the radiator with cap, plug your fan back up, and top off the res. check that your radiator cap works, this can also cause overheat! There is a seal on there make sure it is still intact, and not torn. Also remove your oil cap and make sure that the oil doesn't look like milk chocolate, that would a big indicator that your HG is blown...Leak down might tell you from where, if it is...once again GL.

My father has a shop in Riverside, located off Pierce and the 91, called Top Auto. He's been a mechanic for 20+ years. Check him out. His shop number is 951.351.2059.
Dam im on the same boat. Replaced almost every part of the cooling system already. It might be a bad temp gauge cluster? Test out the cluster and see if its the indicator is on "C" on cold startup. Mine automatically jumps to 1/3 mark on cold start. Still trying to track down another cluster to test. Best of luck
It might just b a bad headgasket ive done alot of cars that dont smoke or the oil getting milky.
It might just b leaking compression into the water ports. Do your hoses get all balloned up
