Default 99 Hatch B16A2 swap - CA REF/BAR?

Hi, I just swapped my 99 Si B16A2 into my 99 hatch. What do I need to do to BAR my car for the swap in California? I have the stock intake, and the stock headers. I also have B-Series Carb legal Headers that came with my swap. I have read before that swapping a 99 Si engine into any 99 civic doesnt require BAR and you just go and smog it. Any info would be appreciated mates :]

Why do you people never just actually call directly and find out? I never understand these questions.

And yesterday was Friday. I don't see how it's an emergency. Get it from the horses mouth and not conflicting info from strangers on a forum.

in cali you HAVE to have a ref and bar pass to smog you car legally if it isnt the engine that came in the car from the factory.

Okay thanks mate. I only ask because I read somewhere that a 99 With a 99 Si swap didn't need to be bar/ref'd because it came stock in the Si. Just wanted to actually find out. Thanks guys [:

You don't HAVE to have it bar/ref'd if its just the stock Si motor. I took my 98 hatch to smog with a B16A2 swap and wasn't even an issue. They hooked it up, it passed and it was a done deal. Only reason to take it to a ref station is if it has failed a smog test or you think it will fail smog.

Okay man great info, thanks! Does it matter if the motor has carb legal DC headers or should I use my stock headers? Cheers! [;
