so i just came up on a 94 accord sedan lx..... car is great daily...needs a paint job...door lock sound is annoying... power window regulators...ac work...and most importantly my speedomotor does not work...everything else on my cluster except for that? what could be the problem???

 

Buy a GPS and hang it from your window.

Problem solved.


If you really want to fix it, I would grab a volt meter, pull out your speed sensor and test it. If sensor is good, check out cluster. If cluster is good, check all grounds.

 

Sounds like a bad speedo. Find replacement cluster and it should be good.

 

i'd check the vss before taking apart the dash and cluster
