I dont claim to know anything about the Turbonetics turbocharger, but from what i've seen of Turbonetics in the past, I would never switch from a Garrett to a Turbonetics. They seem so second-rate. If you notice, you dont ever see threads spouting about how amazing anything Turbonetics is...I would stick with what you have

If you really feel like swapping turbos, might I suggest a Borg Warner S258. It will spool about the same as your current GT30r, but is capable of a lot more power if you keep upping the boost. Also, they sound amazing

Or upgrade the GT3076R with something else while keeping the internal structure of the GT3076R. There are several options.

he has a gt3076r already on his setup, his goal is 650-700hp which the gt3076r wont be able to produce since it maxes out around 550hp, the turbonetics snail would work great for his setup and he will hit his goal no problem just my .2cents

Well, then he has to be wanting a completely different setup over this. The two turbos are of completely different airflow rates and purposes.

650-700hp is the goal, and your worried about lag?! I'm pretty positive lag on a honda is the one constant at 650-700hp lolol

Next time you're looking for turbo advice, it might be nice to have a goal listed. While we were giving you options similar to your GT30r, you needed something completely different.

You can have relatively less lag from one turbo to the next, but at tht power level, lag is the one constant (i had to borrow that phrase)

IMO pick up a 6265 precision billet unit. will get you over 700whp and still spool decently and give you a ncie powerband. the 6262 will also allow for 700range just take a little more boost to do it
