Default Oil leak by distributor...Help Please!

I got oil leaking from my 99 prelude. Sludge mostly in between engine and distributor. What should I pay to get this fixed? Or is this a quick diy?

Pretty sure it's the o-ring, go to the dealership for that

Stupid easy fix, just get a new o-ring from the dealer, get a 12mm wrench or socket and remove the distributor and replace it.

^^ this.

If it does not resolve the issue, than one of the following may be - your cam seal/vtec solenoid seal(s)/ valve cover seal

Could also be the valve cover gasket, its a bunch of 10mm nuts to pull that off.

Get some Perma Bond at your local parts store and apply it to the valve cover gasket right there where its leaking. Tighten it all back up and be done with it.

This is common and nothing to worry about.
