i have no cel, oil is good wiring is good.. i had vtec on a switch so the solenoid is fine and the screen is not clogged..
still no vtec.. it cracked maybe twice over the past week with no cel but only for a split second and only in 1st gear.. when it vtec engaged around 5 or w.e it fell out by 6.5... im no dummy and mechanically inclined but im stumped only other thing i can think of is my ecu is crap... any help is immensly appreciated..

you should wire in a VTEC light. into the dashboard. check the wire going from the ecu to the vtec solenoid and make sure theirs no breaks in it "check with multimeter" and if you do the vtec light mod, then thatll let you know if the ecu is engauging the vtec or not. and the main relay isnt wired with the vtec or has nothing to do with the vtec. if your main relay wasnt functional then your car wouldnt start at all...
with the vtec light i just tap into wire for the solenoid? n ground the light... and i just mentioned the relay cuz i kno it needs to be replaced soon. .. thanks for yo help glock
For vtec to work on stock ecu it got be at operating temperture (warmed up), got to have vss signal, good oil pressure, and rpms high enough when vtec engages.
