ok so i just bought a 95 del sol with a turbo'd d15b and the tune on it is way off is there any kind of at home tune i can do to get it running decent till i can afford to get it to the shop and have it professionally tuned? currently its running pretty doggy and its throwing codes for the map,tps,iat sensors

 

First resolve the codes that are being thrown before you do anything!
The car will NOT run right no matter what when it's throwing those codes.

 

correct me if im wrong but wouldnt a turbo cause these codes if the car has never been tuned for it?

 

i know forsure it would cause the map and iat code not sure if it would cause the tps though anyone else have input?

 

Incorrect. The only code the stock ecu will throw is the map sensor code once it sees positive manifold pressure.

it wouldnt throw a iat code cause the intake air temp it so much hotter?

 

ok so i tested the tps and here's the results
closed throttle 6.7mv
wot 3.03v
would this indicate a faulty tps
also checked the power and ground wire power was 5v and the groud was good

 

not at all.
Could be bad but it sounds like someone replaced it and didnt set it properly. Just stuck it on and went with it.

 

tried adjusting it with no change and no one sells the tps for the delsol so could i use the tps from a late 90s b18 engine?

 

bought a new tps and am still getting the ame readings... so now i really have no clue what to do nomatter where its adjusted at closed throttle i cant get it above 10mv

Make sure you have the correct plug going to the tps... Some people swap the tps and map sensor plugs.
