My questions are

1. Does anyone no of dyno shop that tunes honda in between knoxville-chattanooga, TN. Preferably chatt but knox is cool. Everyone ive talked to says there strictly v8. gay.

2. Is that whp goal reachable reliabily on the stock bottom end.

3. do most dyno shops have in house wideband or should i get one before i go i plan on getting it either way i just thought they may have them in house.

4. Anything else recommended for tuning, or for reliability

 

does the ecu have a basemap on it?

 

1. can't help you with that one (i'm dutch)
2. whp is defenatly reachable with the setup and up to 200whp is reliable on a good tune!
3. most dyno shops have a wideband but your own is always preferred
4. i'd get a walbro, just for cheap insurance (you'll hit yourself in the head if you cheaped out on it and ruined the engine because of it!

it does have a basemap on it but its for when it was all motor. i just finished up the turbi setup over the weekend. And i have a walbro 190lph on the way. How are the spool characteristics of the t04e never used it before?

 

Don't use that basemap. What trim is the turbo?

 

i say you can use that basemap, u just cant boost it at all

boost and no tune=blown motor

 

.50 compessor

.63 exhaust.

And i dont plan to run on that basemap, i will probably tow it to the tuner anyway since im prob goin to be drivin a hour to the tuner

 

I ordered a new chip from xenocron with a basemap for my setup. Do u think it will be ok to drive an hour to the tuner or should i tow it.
