JDM B18C Type R Swap Concerns and Fluid Capacity Questions?
Hi, I'm new to this forum, and really new to the Honda world. Right now, I own a 2002 Subaru WRX, fully built. But anyways, I own a 1994 Integra LS. I bought the car as a shell, and I purchased a JDM B18C Type R swap from HMotorsOnline.
Me and my cousin and a buddy of mine dropped the Type R in, and I believe everything is hooked up properly (I hope), and unfortunately, me and my buddy got into it pretty bad, so that just leaves me with my cousin, who knows his fair share about Hondas, so I'm greatful for that.
My modifications are:
- EBay exhaust
- EBay header
- Stage 3 F1 Racing clutch
- Chromoly lightweight flywheel
- AEM cold air intake
- Chipped P28 ECU
Anyways, the shell came with the harness on the passenger's side of the vehicle that the engine harness plugs into, but the engine harness didn't come with the shell. The Type R swap also came with it's own harness as well. My buddy told me to extend all of the wires from the Type R harness, since it obviously came out of a RHD car, so I did. All of the connectors to the Type R harness plugged into the harness that came with the shell, so hopefully, that was done right. My buddy did all of the wiring to the ECU, so hopefully that was done right, because I wasn't there to watch what he did, nor would I really know if he was doing it right, since I don't know much about these cars, but like I said, hopefully that was done right.
Please feel free to comment on anything that I said above, if you feel like anything was done wrong. I'm just trying to figure out if everything was done correctly.
Also, I plan on putting all the fluids in the car tomorrow, plus I plan on bleeding the brakes. I was wondering if anyone knows the oil capacity and tranny fluid capacity of a JDM B18C Type R.
Thank you all in advance!

x2
there is no difference.
on the tranny, you get the car level and add fluid until it starts to seep out of the same hole you're adding to. just buy 2qts, chances are you won't use it all
