Icon2 PCV/Black box won't stay put. FI D16

I'm asking this in the turbo section because if you have FI you'll have addressed this issue.

I have a D16B2 with T3 using stock internals on fairly low boost.

To vent the crank case pressure I have removed the PCV valve, plugged the manifold, run a pipe from the black box on the back of the block to a catch can, run a pipe from the valve cover also to the catch can, vented the catch can near the air filter.
The problem is that the black box on the back of the block keeps popping out and leaking oil all over my downpipe which, as you can imagine, concerns me greatly.

Does anyone have an easy method of securing this black box to the block, all it seems to have now is an 'O' ring to hold it.

When you did the Z6 was it held with a bracket or did the bolts go directly through the box?

Top one is the upper bolt...with the angle of the picture you cant see the lower one..but i put it in the general area of where the bolt SHOULD be....its been a long time since i did it.

Thanks, I need another box.
It looks like mine got discarded last time I took it for some work. I've been pushing the pipe back into what I thought was a loose box. What it actually is, is a pipe with a plastic fitting on the end just shoved into the block.
Talk about a half arsed job, aint taking it there again. I wish I had room for ramps so I could do more work myself.
Here's a pic of what I found just a few minutes ago, it was just pushed into the short metal pipe coming from the block.

They make fittings that delete that box...Might be your best bet..You would have to do some research tho.

Short metal pipe that goes horizontal across the block? I hope not, that's a coolant passage lol.

There is a specific place for the box to go into the box, there's a big open hole in the back of the block. Can't miss it, it's almost 3/4" in diameter.

As far as fittings go, I've never seen any for Dseries engines. I personally just tapped out the original black box for my catch can. Works fine.

Er no it's not the coolant pipe lol, it's definitely the right port. I'll souce another box and tap it for the CC. Which is what should have been done in the first place as it's a baffle box and saves a lot of oil from reaching the CC. Can't figure why it was removed.
Thanks all
