hey guys i got a 95 civic ex d16z6 turbo. i have a godspeed set up tuned on a basemap running 10psi. i drive the car everyday so i dont beat on it but recently if i hit boost and only if i hit boost theres blue smoke comin from my exhaust. this is my first turbo car does this mean its time for new seals on the turbo? or is it time for a new turbo all together ( i hope not ) any and all respsonses are appreciated.

but in all seriousness, it could be that your valve seals or rings need replacing

 

by rings u mean the piston rings?

could be seals in turbo or head

 

yeah im an idiot...the smoke i was seein was from the tires breakin loose in 2nd gear...took sum air out of the front tires...problem solved lol...wow i feel stupid

Are your tires blue???...
I would check shaft play and engine compression just for the heck of it.

no its tuned...the tires are new and theres sum blue ink or dye on part of the tread on the drivers side. i had my friend drive behind me the other day and there was sum blue smoke commin from the exhaust when i got on it. i got a new air filter for the turbo and now theres nothing commin from the exhaust at all...so i dunno
