Hi as the title states. Are hot sides interchangable? I have a garrett 60-1 .63 hot side .70 cold side and wanted to see if I can do anything to make it spool with the charecteristics of a ball bearing turbo without having to get a completely new turbo. My turbo has less than 1,500 miles on it.

 

if you bolt a .48 hot side on it you're going to reduce performance on the top end in order to get that slightly faster spool time.
