ls/vtec idividual throttle bodies
my set up:
b18a block (balanced)
gsr head (p72)
still have yet to decide on my cams
p30 pistons
obx itbs
ok so i have read up on the obx itbs a little but i am trying to get more info. i have literally looked for a couple of hours for a thread that will give me the info i want. i want to find something that walks you through the set up (vacume lines, tuning, injector size i should use, are there any sensors i can eliminate now, anything informatinal) If i could find a full write up that would be great. heck i'll take any info that people want to offer. i traded a guy my gsr intake + $200 for a brand new set of obx itbs so imo i got a killer deal

i posted about this years ago, surprised you cant find any of that stuff in archive???
-tps rewire
-map sensor hose to a canister, canister should have 4 nipples going to each runner on ITBs and a big nipple going to the brake booster
-air temp sensor routed to mount near the front of the ITBs opening (unless those ITBs have a mount for the IAT sensor.
-ECU programmed for ITBs, i.e. load based on TPS signal and cross mapped to vaccum load from MAP.

There are no full write up. You just gonna have to make your own research and piece it all together. Installing the ITB is the easy part. Tuning it is where the all the fun is at.

first off please dont think i am saying this in a snooty way or trying to argue. its just something i would like to say. as far as i am concerned the whole point of ht is to "spoon feed" people if they need it. i dont mind getting on here and looking up what i want to know(in fact i do it daily), but if i cant find it then it is nice to have people help me out. that is the entire point of any forum. if people dont want to help others out then why do we even have ht? if everybody expects people to find their own information then why not shut down ht and everybody can find their own info via google. when i venture into doing things i have never done before i like to fully research the topic and hopefully find full write ups on that particular project with a step by step guide with pictures. videos are even better if i can find them. i dont have anybody to come show me in person how to do anything honda related, so my next best bet is to find a guide on how to do what i want. anyway my point is that i am not looking to be spoon fed right off the bat, however, if i cant figure out how to do something or i would like more detailed information then yes i am asking to be spoon fed. i want to make sure that when i do something i am doing it 100% the correct way no matter how much time and effort it takes. i like having the satisfaction of knowing there were no corners cut. anyway im ot trying to sound like i am arguing i am simply stating why i like to ask questions
ya maybe and i have read posts both ways but i honestly dont know anybody around here with an itb set up so i thought maybe i would be one the first to tackle it and see what i can do lol
