Default LS/V-Tec Question.

Ok here it is I am helping a clubbie do a swap into a 1990 rex. We are using the 1991 LS B18A1 block, 1994 GSR head, and the tranny from the LS. My question is do we use the air sensor on the top of the GSR throttle body? The info we keep getting from swap shops is there is no sensor there! In fact there is.
Any help is better then no help.

Which air sensor? MAP? IACV? You said "on top of the gsr throttle body" So I am assuming MAP.

MAP sensors are universal. You may use the LS or the GSR, whichever will work.

That's of course if that is what you are referring to.
