Icon3 FG2 H.I.D Problems!! Wont work?

I have done lots of research in this forum and plenty others as well. I bought an hid kit for my 2007 civic si. I put everything together correctly...as far as i know. When i turn my lights on....nothing. The high beams still come on, the opposing headlight comes on as well. But no h.i.d. I have read that some people came to find that the stock wiring is reversed from what most h.i.d. kits are. I figured i would check if i have that problem but when i use my volt meter i dont even get any power readings!! Also i read you are supposed to disconnect the driving lights? or remove the fuse for them first or something. That didnt work either. Did my ballasts come fried or something? both lights and both ballasts have been tried and i am getting no results. Does anyone have any tips, clues, answers, anything? All help is appreciated

Did u put the harness into the ballast correctly? Most kits can potentially be reversed by accident.

I tried both ways. I even plugged the bulb into the ballast and gave it power from a car battery and nothing...

If you are getting no power from your volt meter you obviously popped the fuse for the headlights, but it should be plug in play (assuming you have 35 watts), if you have 55watts you need to run a relay kit, but even then if no fuse is out the relay is getting no power from that wire to say "Hey turn on", and make sure you have it plugged in the right way, positive to positive and negative to negative, and make sure the connectors seat all the way, some I have seen are super super hard.

No fuse is blown i checked. Plus the stock bulbs still work when i put them back. It is a 35 watt system and i double checked all connectors. The plug going from stock bulb harness to the ballast ended up snapping farther into place when i gave it more pressure. However this had no affect. Is there some little quirk your supposed to do when installing that i am missing?

no quirks.. i think you should contact the manufacturer of the HID kit before going any further. they may know, or they may have sent you a broken kit..

It could be 1 of two issues on your car. First make sure the plug off of the HID bulb that goes into your stock power harness is making a connection, look inside the plug to make sure the pins did not bend. Second, if you are sure the plug is in all the way, (simple way is take your volt meter and check the other end of that wire harness), plug it into your ballast one way, if it doesn't turn on, reverse it (reversing the polarity) and try it that way. If that still doesn't work you have a defective kit. Although you did not buy the kit from us don't hesitate to give us a call 631-750-9595 ask for Dan, I can help you over the phone with some troubleshooting tips.
Thanks

i have done a couple sets, on my car and friends cars, everytime i order a set
they never come with a relay harness, so make sure that was included in your set, should connect directly to battery to the ballest, because the stock harness cannot power the hids.

i have been told that you don't need the relay harness on the 8th gen civic. I must have been told wrong. And my kit definitely does not have a relay harness. Looks like ill be hitting up TspNY
