Default 3 wire IACV...converting??

so i installed a y8 head on to my d16a6. also installed the y8 intake manifold. i have the auto intake manifold where the iacv is in the throttle body and not mounted to the intake it self

can anyone help me out as far as converting my 2 pin to 3 pin. I have seen lots of stuff bout converting from 3 to 2 but not the other way..

That pin is ECU dependent so adding the wire won't do anything for you unless you have an ECU that can read 3 wire IACV.

Get the manual intake manifold and use the matching iacv. As far as I know the 3 wire iacv is only used on obd2 ecu's

If you have access to a machinist or are a creative handyman, you can put your own holes in for the 2 wire on the back of the auto manifold.

I was worried about that. not sure if making my own holes will work since you need the hole that goes thru the throttle body aswell

alright, well i went ahead and drilled my own holes for the iacv. alot easier than i thought. makes a couple measurements. i used a paint marker on the gasket to mark where the holes need to be.then used the tb gasket to match the angle at which i needed to drill for the airbypass thru the tb.
oh and drilled and tapped the second mounting hole.

so heads up if anyone runs into this problem. its easy fix
