Icon2 d15b2/z6 mini me fail

I did a z6 mini me on my 91 hatch with a b2 block, everything went smooth but it wont fire now, i have spark and fuel. we have checked the fireing order many time and it is correct, also have tried turning the cam 180 out and still nothing, i used a p28 ecu with a jumper harness, but i have left a few wires not hooked up yet, could that cause it? Also i used my b2 dizzy because i got a strange looking jumper plug for the z6 dizzy that i could not find the other end to plug into it off my obd0 harness.

PLEASE help me my car has been down for 2 weeks trying to figure this out and nothing is working!

you need to run the z6 dizzy the b2 one will not work with the p28

so get a jumper and run the z6 dizzy bro should solve your problem

Strange dizzy plug you say? My first guess.....was your car a dual point (dx) model? If so, did you remember to convert to MPFI (4 injectors)?

If your car was already converted, did you use and obd1 distributor?

i figured that out last night so i switched them out today and still the same problem, got fuel, got spark, but no fire.

And yes it was dpfi but i went mpfi at the same time as the mini me (probally shouldnt of) but that doesnt seem to be the problem, it has fuel and i swapped the throttle pos wires around like i have read about.

I also hooked all the wires up off my ecu jumper harness except the check engine siginal, and i didnt figure i needed it to have the car start.

I will post pics shortly and you guys tell me what you think because we are at a loss.

Not tryin to be mean but I see a few things wrong.
1. you are missing the 2 wires for the cps they are the blue/green and blue/yellow wires you are missing going to the dizzy.
2.you are missing the dizzy plug for the engine harness side.
3. a p28 does not use a knock sensor.
4.you used quick connects and wire nuts the worst things to use.

Thanks i need all the info i can get, complely new thing im getting myself into.

I noticed the wires missing too but i dont know where to get them from, there not in my factory harness, do i have to run them myself? i know im missing the dizzy pulg for the harness side it got pitched on accident and that was just teporary along with the wire nuts and the other stuff. and i know the p28 doesnt have a knock sensor but i heard somebody say i might have to ground it since there isnt one so i gave it a shot.

Also could fuel pressure be the problem? i have the regulator just on the rail at the moment because i am un able to go about finding information on how to hook it up to my 91 dx fuel pump

you should solder your wiring connections together and cover them up with heat shrink.

You ALWAYS look at the plugs from the "wire side" not the "ECU side"...
