Aright so on my 94 Del Sol Si my passenger side rack and pinion boot keeps ripping within a few days of replacing and it's not a huge hole either it's a tiny hole on the top part by the inner tie rod. Today is the third time it's ripped causing PS fluid to gush out of there. What could be causing it to rip? Thanks in advance and pics of the boot upon request.

 

The end seal of the steering rack is leaking. The easiest fix is to replace the rack.

I wanted to ask you, is it diffucult to replace the steering rack and pinnon on a 96 Civic?

My driver side boot is ripped and there is a little fluid leaking but my resivor is full everytime I check it.

The end seal is leaking some fluid. Eventually the rack will need to be replaced. The job is very tedious due to inaccessibility to the two fluid line nuts but is doable if you are determined.
