2000 civic hx check engine light/new exhaust, help plz!
i have an ej7, i just replaced the full exhaust with an EX setup. Megan Racing Header, OBX high flow cat, and Tsudo catback exhaust. I didnt have to extend the o2 wires or splice into them, i just simply removed the tape around the downstream o2 to make it reach the cat. I got a p0420 and p1163 code 2 days after the install. i cleared them and went a few days and got a p1163 and p1165 today. There doesnt seem to be any exhaust leaks anywhere, can someone please give me some help with how to fix this? This is my 2nd visit to honda-tech by the way, I'm having trouble gettin a clear answer, I had no replies my first visit, so please help!

stop reposting thesame crap twice u can just bump it find the leak its probably one of ur exhaust gaskets

redm3turbo: yes, there were other wires taped to the o2 wire, so i separated it from the rest of the wires to make it reach down to the cat.
Wrona: im new to honda-tech, this is only my second visit, im not sure exactly how to work the whole "forum" stuff, but thanks for the pointer, and so my best bet is probably a leaking gasket?
