Today i was coming down the highway and decided to get on it for a minute. Nothing a normal honda guy wouldnt do. In 3rd gear at about 5000-6000 rpms it felt like it was losing power but after 6000-7000 rpms it came back. Then my engine light came on. When i got off i had to stop for a red light. Turned the car off and back on and no engine light. Anyone have any ideas?

 

Even though the CEL is off, jump the service connector in an attempt to retrieve the code. If none is recovered, the next time the CEL turns on, pull over and leave the engine running while you jump the service connector.

 

Well it happened once before like 3 days ago and when i got home i was going to check it on the service connector but i couldnt find it. I have a haynes manual but still couldnt find it. It is located right above the ecu correct? under the glove box area? is there a trick to finding it cause i looked every where

 

It's often plugged into a rubber holder. Click on the CEL sticky at the top.
