Default Finally, my turbo build thread for my 6th gen Civic

UPDATED THIS PAGE AS OF 10/16/2007

UPDATE: EVERYTHING IS PAID AND BOUGHTEN

So, I've been eager to boost my car for quite a while now, and finally I'm going to be able to do it! First things first, here's my parts list of everything that I'm going to get or that I already have:

Walboro 255 fuel pump kit: $88 shipped

Apexi Turbo Timer: $110
I have this item>.

Also ordered:
Golden Eagle Vacuum Manifold: $29 shipped
p28 ecu: $115 shipped
BoomSlang Conversion Harness (obd2 to obd1): $90 shipped

Tune @ Dave's: $100 one time charge

My plan is to be boosted within 2-5 months, and I'll probably be at 5-9PSI on my "temporary" setup; basically whatever psi that will get my at least 180WHP, to 190WHP. This will be it until another motor is built/rebuilt and swapped in... Then I will sell my turbo & turbo manifold in favor of a turbo ram-horn manifold, Spearco intercooler, a custom 3 inch exhaust all the way back, and a t3/t4 turbo at 15-19PSI on drag radials!! (There are a lot of unmentioned things -- like an Exedy Stage 2 clutch with pressure plate and Fidanza flywheel -- I'll be doing before doing this, it's a secret, muhahaha!)

My goal is to make low 12s to 11s on 280-360WHP

what kind of engine do you currently have?

also, i wouldnt waste the time putting in the arp headstuds until you blow a headgasket imo.

Haha, yeah I'm not installing those until I go with my larger setup. That got stuck in there because I was sorting everything from a large list of my entire setup.

Only thing I will suggest is to rethink the downpipe, they crack easily and are cheaply made. Also look into a place where you can order all the parts to save some money,

Why post a picture then of random stuff then ? No I did not read it but did not see the point. Just tossing out a tip.

Either way good luck with your build

I see your point, thanks. I was kinda in a rush to pop this up, and couldn't find any good shots off hand.. I will change it now.

It's a secret, I'll tell you for $1,000 dollars haha.. It's journal-bearing with an AR of .42/.48 with obviously an external waste gate, but it is brand new....

no, it just spools up a little slower and there's a few other small differences.

thanks alot bro. it says 300-320hp though. i have a 1993 honda civic del sol that has a b18c1 swap out of an integra gs-r, edge performance heat wrapped headers, cold air intake, skunk2 intake manifold, and yonaka motorsports full cat-back exhaust system. it probably has about 200whp right now... i probably need a larger hp turbo, right? or will this be okay on there?
