Default Type R valve cover to manifold hose?

I've got a type r head, and after buying a new valve cover for it, I noticed that the new one doesn't have a hole in the back to run a hose to my intake manifold..

How important is it that I run it? Could I just drill a hole in my new one?

All B series valve covers should have that!

only 1 of my 4 does lol..

theres the one that comes out, where most people run a breather filter, then there's a hole with a grommet and a hose that runs to the middle of the im

its cause you have a b20vtec. b20s and obd2 ls don't have the black box, which is where the pcv is on a vtec motor.

not to mention that spot is a bad place to put the pcv, since there's no baffles there.
