Default Small turbo on B18C1

Hi
I have a b18c1 with 9:1 cr wiseco pistons.

What if I put a small size turbo (like a Garrett T25) ?

and use it with a pressure like 10 psi.

is it safe even at high RPMS ? (egt temp)

When the car doesnt produce power at high rpms
because of the small size of the turbo, is it risky in any way ?

a stock b18c1 can handle a good deal of power they have seen up as high as 550.. with a great tune from a great tuner and upgrade the fuel system and your safe. stick with redline if you are using stock valvesprings. so im sure your lil turbo wont hurt it at all. just do it right.

You'll bascially blow hot air into the combustion chamber and waste your time due the efficiency of cylinder head. Throw that turbo in the trash that the DSM guy it to you for.

not too many people use a T25 anymore.. Why not look into a garrett super 60? Just a little larger, but quick spool regardless.

Exactly

If you're looking for a quick-spooling, little turbo, I would consider the GT28rs as well as the T3 Super 60...a T3/T04e 50 trim wouldnt be bad either. Any of these should put you over 300whp and have very quick spool.

A garrett 50 trim, super 60, or even a precision 5857 are all good entry level turbos that will workout for you much better than a t25.
