White smoke only under full boost....?
So heres what happened, I have DSM 450s and I I cut the wires from my OBD 2 injectors, spliced them to the 450s and just had electrical tape holding them togethor.... I took the tape off and butt connected them togethor, went for a drive and now it blows white smoke every time I boost.... Perhaps I should solder the wires togethor??? Only thing I can think of
Yeah it has a resistor box... Probably should have stated before, for some reason i dont know why, i put the hose from PVC hose from the intake mani and put it on over were the breather filter went. I totally forgot to take it off, i stopped driving and pulled it off and you could hear/feel massive pressure being pushed out when I removed the hose. It didnt start smoking at all until I messed with the injector wires
I had the same, it was not the motor ore turbo ore gasket damage ,i repair fixed problem whit new stronger pcv valve and a oel catch tank

Thinkin its the turbo as well. Just a thought, if my injector wires wernt making a full.connectiom could that cause a cylinder to lean out and blow white smoke?
The reason why I dont think its the headgasket is simply this. I had the wires twisted togethor then had electrical tape wrapped all around them, it worked fine but I decided it was pretty ghetto. I took the tape off, used butt connectors to connect the wires, not sure why I put the PCV hose over the breather. When I drove, it created a lot of crankcase pressure and smoked at half throttle. I pulled over took the hose off, the smoke virually went away, now it slightly smoke only under full boost. Thats why I think something is wrong with the fuel injectors not the HG. Thats why I asked the above question about the wiring
Well I ran some seafoam through the motor and sucked it through a vacum hose connected to the intake mani, runs perfect again with no smoke what so ever... Anyone know what it could of been that seafoam would fix??
